So I introduce myself...
Hi,
My name is Annik, I'm from Montreal area (Canada), I speak french (So don't be surprise with my writing, i'm doing my best). I am Kheldan's wife, who is also member of this forum. And mother of 2 kids (7 and 10). As my husband already said, we went to PDC 8 years ago for our honeymoon trip and now we're going back with the kids. The first time (because I was 5 months pregnant) we stayed almost all the time at the hotel. The only tour we did was Tulum/Xel-Ha. It was fun, but with only an afternoon to visit Xel-Ha, it was definitely not enough. Now we would like to do stuff that the kids will enjoy. I would love to go to Coba, but I think that a 90 minutes bus rides will be a bit to long for them. Moreover with the walk, if the youngster start to complain we are far from the hotel. We want to go snorkeling too, but my daughter is worry about "mean fish", like sharks or barracuda. She would love to see dolphin. In the wild. In fact, we would all love to see dolphins, not necessery petting them, like in the program, but just seing them in their natural habitat. Well, if you have any advice or suggestion, feel free... We still have 6 weeks ahead to plan our vacation. |

welcome Annik! i love your name! and your english is about a million times better than my skills in any foreign language
your kids might enjoy Akumal.. we snorkeled there and saw a bunch of sea turtles.. so amazing! i plan to take my kids there someday ( if we ever take them to playa with us!).. it's an easy place to snorkel because it's a bay and the waves are pretty well kept out by a breaker. have fun planning! |
