Hi Tom,

The first thing I would do in your case is to order the maps from www [dot] cancunmap [dot] com. Be sure to get at least the Playa and Mayan Riveria maps and dont be afraid to leave your resort during your stay

Thyanks,We have been to Cozumel,and Cancun several times on cruises.I know thats not the same but we are pretty at ease in the area,and from what I have learned on line were we are staying is a good location. TOM

TOM, use the search function before you any questions and never ask about the weather and you will love it here on playa info. It helped me with my vacation immensely.

The problem with the search is its sometimes old replies.And the weather.Theres not a rainy season?Not that Iam asking.On the search I wrote in Playacar Palace and got nothing.Help TOM

You could try checking the "Calendar" (see purple bar above) to see if peeps have recorded when they'll be in Playa. Or you could post a thread in "General" stating what dates you'll be in Playa to see if anyone else will be there.

As for inquiring about peeps in the Chicago area, that's probably more of a "Peep Stuff" or "Off Topic" forum thread topic.

We are on the Calender and actually found a couple people on another thread 1 10 minutes from us and the other grew up about 5 minutes from us. Tom&Deb
