Hello form Oregon!
I've been lurking here for a while, while my dh and I plan our first trip to PDC (and really Mexico, for that matter, unless you count Mexicali, Tijuana and Puerto Nuevo). We are going in January for our 20th Wedding Anniverary (without the 3 kids, aged 5, 9 and 11). We love to travel, spending most of our time in Hawaii and Las Vegas, but we are ready to broaden our horizons. From reading up on PDC and the Mayan Riviera, I'm thinking this is going to be our new favorite place!
Anyway, we have planned so far a 9 night trip and are dividing our stay between PDC (for a little partying Any advice is welcome! Thanks to all you experts for your time to help us novices plan our trips! |

Ice Cold Beer
Taking a small soft-sided cooler the kind that folds up works VERY well for going to the beach or on a day trip. Then when our trip was over we filled it full of goodies and left it for the girl that cleaned our room. She loved it & wrote us the sweetest note in broken english.Oh also at target there are these neo. water bottle(a.k.a.beer holder) holders with a strap & it hold a 40 oz. SOL (mexican beer) perfect
