Talking 13 Peeps in the Barn Tonight!

Got home tonight to a big surprise...there were 13 peeps waiting in our barn aisle! Was I shocked or what?!?!?!?

Okay...okay...one of our Momma hens hatched out 13 perfect little balls of fluff! Didn't even know she was sitting on eggs in the hay mow! Not what y'all think of when ya say "peeps", but peeps none the less!

Sorry we haven't gone digital with our photography yet, or I'd share photos with y'all!

Wow.
Quite a surprise.

And that's okay with the photos.
I know the excitement over this new "phone" thing hasn't quite worn off yet.

Hardy-har-har! Naw...still not used to that excitement over the telephone thing yet...though between the pager, two cells, a home phone, and four work lines am settling in well...

Have read your posts before...mayhaps have met my match in the smart-tuckus department!

See the escalation indoor plumbing brings....:p

You're description just brought back some memories from childhood where I grew up in the heart of Quaker country is all...."The Friends' Meeting Hall" was still in the center of town and the Quakers were our high school name.

I still remember when the most popular girl in school, Ariel, (gotta watch out for those "PK's") had a charismatic Dad who started a movement (all because a couple of kids were out drinking and driving and listening to loud music, wrecked and died) which led to the town's outlaw mandates against dancing.... and then this new guy, McCormack rolled into town from Chicago....

But that's enough about all that...lest I digress.

"13 peeps in the barn"......

I thought it was a variation on 99 Bottles of Beer in the Wall, and I came in kinda late.

That's so cool.
This reminds me of the fact that I/we need to take our toddler to a county fair somewhere in the area before the end of the season. He loves those little peeps.
