I am sure there are many boards that you will find more devout believers who are temparate and pious....but this forum has way too many partiers to base religion on. IMO. Not that there's anything wrong with having some fun

Here goes then! Well you forgot reformed. I am a born Muslim and that’s where the story pretty much ends. I never really bought into the religion and always had too many issues and problems with not so much the text but more the interpretations of man, to control and impose their will. The people of the religion have too much violence, hatred and intolerance surrounding them, in my opinion they still foster a tribal mentality, and they want to take us all back to their glory days! My final moment came after 911, then and there I knew I had to severe my ties, I have renounced my religion but never have I renounced my belief in God, I completely believe in my maker and dozens of times a day I will acknowledge and give thanks to him. I just can’t affiliate myself with such a group of people. For those that think they are just poor, misunderstood people and if we just could get together and talk…………okay!!
