Peep Meet at Beer Bucket on November 25th at 8:30

i know on another post we talked about who all is going to be in town over Thanksgiving. since Kool & the Gang are playing on Friday night, thought Saturday would be a good night for a meet at (like the title of the post says) the Beer Bucket around 8:30 p.m.

if you are gonna be there, please sign up here...first names and number in your party would be cool as i will probably be bringing name tags. and maybe there might be some tequila shots that will be consumed that evening!! hmmm....

...y'all better watch out for those barstools at the bucket!!

We'll be there for sure...Kathleen (me) and Miles (husband).

We will probably do dinner somewhere nearby then swing by with the kids first, then ship 'em back to the Villa with my niece. Hope it's kid-friendly enough so they can at least stop by with us for a few minutes.

Hope a lot of people can make it!

by the way...kool and the gang is in NO way considered "jazz" IMHO, so why there are slotted into that playbill I don't know. Just happy for the chance to see them while on vacation, so I am not "hating" in any way at all. Grew up listening to them...and Earth, wind and fire and the like...Anyone else think this was odd though? The fact that Kool and the Gang was considered to be "jazz"??? I like to think I know jazz...in fact the passing of maynard ferguson was sad....

Yeah, I thought the same thing, and I grew up with the same music. Our kids are going to love the show.

Sorry to hear about Maynard. He was one of my idols (I played horn).

Pattie and I (Eric) will definitely be there. Hope we can get some more folks signed up!
