fire west of highway this morning

That's about all I know, so far. Shot this from Constituyentes and 25th Ave on the walk in this morning.

I drove by it, on my way to work. I believe it is the secondary warehouse for Telebodega. Its a big one, that has been burning for hours.

I heard the firetrucks and ambulances at around 5:30AM, and its still not out. They have a lot of stock in that secondary warehouse. I hope they have good insurance.

The whole place is burnt out and the central core is still smouldering.

Dali-esque microwaves are now on display and the furniture is looking more stylish at last with a contemporary chocolate brown finish.

The buildings next door have been evacuated as the power has been cut and smoke has seeped inside.

Let's hope they are well insured - the nearby showroom already got hit badly last year by Wilma.

I just drove by, as well. The Daliesque analogy is brilliant. The bulldozers were piling up the smoking rubble, and the water from the bomberos is flowing down the highway. What a mess. I don't think any of their stock could have made it through this fire.

Just a little photographic follow-up. It does indeed look doubtful that anything in there is still of use...

I would like to know how you could even find this thread, then see the pictures and respond with a post without reading it to see what was burning? That's hard to do, isn't it?

She's got a good point, there, you must admit!

On the other hand, I would like to know why you might at one time laid claim to the title "World's Biggest Prince Fan" (or however you put it the other day, exactly), but I ain't sure I'm gonna find that out...
