Okay, we tried the main part of the costume on her last night... she did okay until the end when she got tangled up... ooops:

Laying still, posing nicely for the camera:

On the move:

that unfortunate tangling thing:

Oh my god that baby is gorgeous SKM! It's pictures like those that make me say to the wife every once in a while "let's have a fourth!". Than we both come to our senses and are happy we are out of the diaper phase and into the full time in school phase for all three girls.

yeah... well... stranger things have been known to happen!!

she is pretty cute (i can say that, right? )... even with the claw mark on her nose... she woke up that way so I guess she was scrubbing at her boogie nose during the night and hooked a fingernail

Char - Those pics of Lil RileyG are beyond priceless! I'm here chuckling at her progression from being too through with herself to her frustration of getting tangled... priceless expressions!

Since I'll be in Vegas for Halloween there is no doubt I'm dressing. I went for my costume parts last night (verrrrrry kooky, people working in the place) - I'm doing a ghoulish/Bride of Frankenstein type look. I really get into the makeup thing so I'm sure it'll take hours just to do that afterall I need to look appropriately decomposed.

I am soooo looking forward to doing the strip in costume - couldn't imagine a better place (other than Lafayette St in the Village) to be.

I read that as doing the "striptease!" I wondered, how will anyone know who you're going as if you take off your costume?

I'm wearing a hockey official's uniform with dark glasses and carrying a blind man's cane and doing my best Stevie Wonder imitation.

Any ideas for a REALLY easy costume requiring no makeup for Michael? Circle of Friends is going out for dinner and having a costume party. He won't sit for makeup or a complicated costume. I haven't dressed him up in about 5 years (he's 16 now) and am kind of stymied.

I guess I don't have to send a costume...but I think most of the other kids are dressing up. I could just put him in jeans and a flannel shirt and send Mike's cowboy hat. Hmmmm....

Working on my costume now. Betty Page as "devil in the blue dress". Same as last year but it was so much fun I had to do it again! Remaking the dress...last years dress ended up with frozen hurricane all over the front of it, and the seams were starting to split. Co-hosting a HUGE halloween party on Sat at a friends house...should be fun!
