I love a good manicure , but I dont do colors on on my fingernails and I dont like long nails. (I like the natural clean, french manicure type look)

I haven't read any answers yet.

I used to get gel nails but hated the fugly thickness of them (not practical for gardening, etc.), and I found it to be a waste of time and money.

Now I just look after my own nails.

I never paint my fingernails, but keep them manicured and painted with clear Witchcraft polish, and medium length.

I don't like the look of painted fingernails, honestly. Something light is fine, red or darker colours in my opinion , look a little 70's, Dolly Parton-ish- trashy.

Now my toenails- I keep manicured and painted all the time. Reds, brown-pinks, burgundies- dark colours usually. They don't chip as easily as fingernails do. Once in a blue moon I get a pedicure too, maybe once a year on average.

Gel or long toenails are just NASTY.

I have them manicured for special occasions and when I go on vacation (no fake ones, just a mani) Other than that, I do them myself..which is not very often because after cleaning, tub time with Collin and gardening, the polish is gone anyway.
