I do owe the Canadians an apolgy though
The other day I read in my local news paper a story about how there are a few small towns in the State of Maine, US of A whose resident still use outhouses as their way of relieving themselves.
Now I would have sworn that this would be a regular occurance in Canada, not here in the US of A. ![]() |

Hey, you replied, Shammy! I think he is funny, I get a kick out of him. Takes all kinds, after all. Glad that you learned something new today, Stogey- everyone should aim to learn something every day. Not many outhouses left around here. Although the last overnight hunting trip DH took me on, we slept in a trailer in someone's yard that they rent out to hunters, and we had to use an old outhouse. It was November so I remember it was damn cold. ![]() |

I supposse we live in Igloos and don't have shopping malls either right????
The only outhouses I know of are at friends cabins that are located in the middle of the bush overlooking pristine, clean lakes......I'll use an outhouse ot spend a week there. |
