Only one Starbucks around here within cat swinging distance, and I think I may have been there two times? I just can't bring myself to wait in a line that snakes out the door (and why is this? ) just pay a bazillion bucks for a cup o' burnt tasting java when I can stroll into Dunky Donuts or Wawa and pay a fraction of the cost for better tasting cawfee. My son is in love with their vanilla frappacinnos, no doubt because we gave into him often when we were in L.A. and went past a Starbucks on every corner.

However.................I can certainly see how this would be an exciting thing for Playa-ites, so congrats! But when in Playa, I will still by my cawfee and cappacinno at Cafe Corazon - yummmmmmm.

I'm with you Shammy. I actually like Wawa's dark roast coffee better anyway.

C'mon people...like babs said, someone likes Starbucks 'cause it's making millions!

I don't drink coffee...I drink espresso. I can't get espresso at Tim's, 7-11, or whatever else. I won't buy a regular coffee, won't drink it...I also don't use milk, I use soy, not so easy to find at just any coffee outlet...I love my espresso and my grande sugar-free vanilla soy no foam latte.

I don't get why people have to get so angry about Starshmucks. Yep, I spend $5 a coffee, and I'd like to spend less, but there isn't a place that sells a cup of espresso for less.

Many people spend $5 a day on a pack of smokes, a lottery ticket, a beer or two...and for some our joy is a coffee.

And I am guilty of enjoying getting out of my home office, sitting either inside or outside in the fresh air at Starbucks, enjoying my 'coffee', my complimentary wireless internet....

Just watched the sun come up on the playa web cam. Wish I was on the beach with a cup of coffee right now
