Hello from Texas
I just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks. Y'all have already helped me so much in planning my trip. But I digress.....
I'm terry from TX., though I'm originally from CA (just had to clarify). I'll be going to the Yucatan and more importantly to Playa del Carmen for the first time next spring. I have been to other areas of Mexico but this will be my first to this region. I can't wait |

Somehow the longer I meander along these threads/posts the more I re-enforce the realization that Texans really do outnumber the rest of us folks from the various states combined, and countries( ) for that matter. In fact I shouldn't be surprised if at some point (soon? ) a couple of these Lone Star fellows will start clamoring for the urgent need to change the original Logo from Playa.info to Texans.info.![]() ![]() |

Actually up until recently, the "Where Do You Plant Your Butt" thread had Minnesota on top. |

No doubt Minnesota will always hold the top position, geographically speaking that is. ![]() This impression that Texans are way up there, if not at the very top, is either right on the mark these days or it's way off course, yet skewed by a well known cadre of ultra-boisterous characters ![]() ![]() |

Thank y'all for the welcome...ya hear the accent. I'm working on it. I've only lived in Texas for 4 yrs. Was born and raised in CA...we won't say how many years I lived there. My dad is originally from Texas so I tell everyone here, that I just came to my senses and headed back to the mother-land.
btw a Texas passport has the Lone Star on the cover |
