You carry on making suggestions about a sandwich shop and somebody will open a Subway on 5th.

No way! Too late? Don't recall seeing one. Although I wasn't looking. Do they sell margaritas?

Get this. My brother a trained Head Chef bought a Subway franchise. They sent him to the U.S. to "learn" how to make sandwiches.

We had a BIG argument becuase he wanted me to invest $60k into the venture.

We're not talking.

I'm not a fan of Subway.

Subway doesn't count.

I'm talking about something like Pret a Manger with their scrummy range of wraps, sandwiches and tasty treats, slurp.

I gotta have about 100 titles at the house, mostly in paperback, and I'm there from early January to early June. By mid-February, half of them will have changed through trading.

Even though I read voraciously (sort of, but it's such a good word), I always seem NOT to have read the majority of books people offer to trade! So please, let me know when you'll be in town!
Will do Page! We always end up leaving books behind and it would be nice to pack less books.

oh dude, have you ever tried a vertical accelerator????..........think reverese bungee, they stretch the bands down to a release hook at the ground, strap you in, and then let it go....instantaneous g-forces!!! I landscaped an amusement center in N. Austin that set one up and the owner let me be a guinea pig....what a rush!!!.......too bad the state inspectors shut it down over safety concerns due to bad welds

Our local library is always selling used paperbacks--5 for $1; they get sand or water or drinks on them--who cares?
