Massachusetts Leaf Peep Meet- Sunday October 15th!

Join Brian (fruitfly) and me at Autumn Hills Orchard in beautiful Groton, Massachusetts for an afternoon of apple picking (or just apple eating

), drinks, snacks and enjoying the sweeping views from atop the ridge! Brian runs Autumn Hills, a 70+ acre orchard growing over 20 varieties of apples along with peaches, pears and plums.
And there's more!

Bonus peep meet Saturday evening, October 14th at La Carreta Mexican restaurant in nearby South Nashua, NH! Word has it that some peeps plan to make a weekend of it, and we've gladly seized the opportunity to share our favorite local restaurant with them.
So put on a sweater, pack up the kids and join us for a fun afternoon. Or a weekend!

OKAY, I KNOW this is during bloom, but these will have to do until I get some more seasonal pics to show you

...

More details as to times, etc., will follow. And pray for good weather. In case of inclement weather, Plan B will take effect. We're not sure what that is just yet (Casa Caramba?), but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Local Lodging:
The Red Roof Inn in Nashua is just over a mile away from La Carreta, and about a 15 minute or so ride to the orchard and to our house. A little pricier, the Sheraton Nashua is right up the street from the Red Roof Inn. Both are very close to Route 3, Exit 1 in South Nashua.

Caramba I will be happy to come and maybe bring a horse for pony rides if we have any kids coming. Sounds like great fun.

Wish I could figure out a way to make this one. I have been such a copout on the last couple. However, my wonderful bosses now have me working a Sunday to Thursday schedule. And gotta save all my AL in case I do happen to be able to make it to Peepstock. My life suscks!

Cool, Harris- we'll see if we can make that work...although all the "paying customers" with kids there that day may want rides too
