Hola from Canada
hi, we are heading down for November and December, driving from Alberta with our beautiful Giant Schnauzer. We are spending Jan and Feb in other parts of Mexico. 40 more days till we leave. Sue, Roger and Tuxedo

Thanks for all the hello's. We are traveling all over Mexico and have rented houses throughout. Our first destination is Merida, playa del Carmen, lake Bacalar, Huatuculco, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas then up through San Diego, down the coast and home. This will take 4 months. In between the houses we have rented we will have to stay in hotels or places that will accept my big hound. We hope to search out real estate along the way so that we may find a place we can drive to every year to escape our winters. We're flying some of our kids and grandaughter down for a stay while in cabo and a few other places. ( Live while your still living.)

I too am jealous. Can you stop and pick us up in Saskatoon? Where are you staying at in Huatulco and where in PV? If you are looking for a nice place to stay near PV that isn't so big/crowded, try Sayulita, a great little surf town 30 kms north. They have a couple of trailer parks.

We won't be staying in any trailer parks but have already rented houses. We are staing for 3 weeks in Sayulita (P.V.) and also 2 weeks in San Pancho (P.V.). We aren't actually staying in Huatulco but in Puerto Escondido which is just a bit away. We have been to all these places before but always flying to an all inclusive several times a year. I'd like to stay in a few all inclusives or B & B's along the way but will have to charm my way in with my very large Giant schnauzer. He is a beauty but he is big and can be a bit bossy also. I am doing up a web site through (mytripjournal ) to track our travels and headaches if any. Should be a great adventure, hoping to meet a ton of people.

Those would be our picks as well (Sayulita and Puerto Escondido), and maybe Rincon de Guayabitos, if we went to those places. We stayed in a room in a privately owned villa too when we were in Sayulita this summer- we were in the south end of town. Have a chocolate milkshake at Choco Bananas for me! And chiles rellenos at the Sayulita Cafe, mmmm.I will be looking forward to reading about your adventures! |
