A really dumm question #1 and dumm question #2 - the answers doesn't help!

Hi
I know thats not the right way but I do something wrong. Forgive a little idiot. I tryed to post a Thread on General or News but get the message that I don't have permission to post. I'm locked in as cleo85. What do I wrong? What do I have to do to post a Thread?

I think you can only post on reviews only! I may be wrong too.

Some of the forums have restrictions on who can start new threads while others do not. Only moderators can start new threads in the "News and Gossip" Forum and the "Changarros y mas" Forum. So if you attempted to start a new thread in either of these forums, you would have received an error message. You can, however, start a new thread on the "General" Forum. To do so:
  • Click on the "Forum Jump" menu located on the left side of the horizontal navigation bar found at the top of the page.
  • Click on "General" located under the "Forums Moderated by Locals" heading.
  • Click on the "New Thread" button that looks like this located in the upper left of the forum page above the announcements.
  • Create your new thread by typing in the text box that appears in the new window. Remember to include a meaningful title.
  • To preview your thread before submitting to the forum, click on the "Preview" button located under the text box. Make any necessary revisions.
  • To submit your completed thread to the forum, click on the "Submit" button located under the text box.

You must be logged on in order to post or create a new thread. Perhaps you were not logged in before you attempted to create a new thread? I just checked your status in the mod control panel and you should be able to create a new thread in the "General" Forum. If you are still having trouble, post a new thread here in the "Introductions" Forum... since you don't seem to have any problems doing so here... and I'll move it to the appropriate forum for you.

I've also merged your two "dumm question" threads together since your second question relates directly to your first question. That way we keep everything organized in one location.

I'm still having trouble

Dear Densia,
I'm still having trouble. I was locked on as cleo85. I was able to post her in the Interductions in the same session but I wasn't able to edit my own thread.
I tryed to log on again [just in case] and got a message you are already logged on.
Could it have to do with our Internet settings? - Do you work with add ons? - I had to turn the most of them off.
Thanks for your help
Heidi

Are you using IE? You will need to have Java downloaded as well as Macromedia and ActiveX controls for the webcam. With all these plug ins running you should have no problems!!
