Where else?? From his mother!!!
Shortly before my trip south to Baltimore to hang with MsRubio and Banzoomba and to raise some hell at the Mid-Atlantic Peep Meet (organized by the wonderful Kathy, {"alwaysmissinpdc"}), I had begun corresponding with James's mother (aka "Mom"). An offer of "Hey, let's meet for lunch while I'm there!" was made and accepted, and we (Monica {"MsRubio"}, her daughter, Marissa, Nancy {James's mom}, and Natalie {Nancy's granddaughter/James's niece}) all met up for burgers and wonderfully greasy fries/onion rings.
It was a true delight for both Monica and me to meet the woman responsible for bringing James into the world (we didn't know whether to thank her or reprimand her
) and to meet precious little Natalie.
Hope to see you again SOON, Nancy!! Next time let's plan to meet up on the beach in Playa and toss back a few margaritas and shrimp tacos!!
