EDSS in December - NEWBIES...
Hello - Newbies here!
We realize this is a dedundant post, but wanted to introduce ourselves. Planning on booking EDSS (birthday trip) for 12-2/12-9 this weekend, but now we're wondering if we will be spending $$$ to visit a ghost town. We're not looking for a Spring Break atmosphere, but neither the "what if you threw a party and nobody came..." scenario. Will restaurants be closed? Will pools be closed for renovation? Will there be a serious reduction in staff? We don't necessarily want 100% occupancy, but 20% would probably affect most services. This is our first visit to the Yucatan, but we're veteran visitors to the Pacific side. Never an AI though - this will be a 1st. We've resarched our hineys off and came up with EDSS as a destination (adults only, a bit more secluded, rumors of good food, decent snorkeling...). Any other suggestions that would fit the bill would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks - and we've enjoyed all the informative & entertaining posts here! Sleeperbee |
