Comment and Question PDC

I am presently working in Saltillo. I will go back to the states in 5 days and in 9 days in Paradise (I hope) PDC for 7 days. I plan on laying on the beach having the mind going blank and enjoying my Indio.
Question: Should I pick up some more pesos while I am in Saltillo or does US dollars work with all the locals in PDC and the area?
