Need to plan a Bday party at Lindo
Anybody got a suggestion on how to handle a birthday party. 17 of us will be staying at the Lindo. On the Wednesday of our trip we will have a 50th party for one of the attendees. This is the reason we are going so we want it to work out well.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> The title of the trip is Wendy’s Mayan Birthday Bash. I have assured Wendy that on her birthday Wendy gets what Wendy wants. The biggest question right now is how I go about setting up a dinner for 17 people in advance. I would love to make it something unusual/different. I have a sneaking suspicion that one or two of you folks might be partiers so any ideas would help. Larry |

Call Ahead
Call ahead to the head of the concierge or guest relations. Tell them what's going on. What you need, when and where. look ahead at the menus, decide what sounds best for the group and ask for reservations for that night. its all inclusive. Free flowing food and drink. I really enjoyed the Mexican restuarant. Its actually on the mayan side, but big enough to handle a part like that, more casual, but the food and drink were really good. The gourmet is really nice, but would be a very "un-party" atmostphere as would the chinese. Trying to think where else might be a good party place... Get the resort to get a cake made, etc.... for you ahead of time. A lot of fun could be had and the resort should help make it right for you. Might figure out a way to embarrase her at the entertainment salon that night too!
