On left side, hand under pillow, sleep by number bed set to the magic figure of 45, ear plugs in (seriously) and feet stuck out. Snoring pug curled up next to my stomach. Snoring Boston curled up against my back. Snoring Jeff all over the rest of the king sized bed.

On my back, arms folded over my chest or stomach with 65 lb dog between my legs, as far to the edge as possible, with wife and two 25 lb dogs taking up the rest of the King Size bed that was mine before we married. Whats up with that??

Arm under head, feet out, dangling, while snoring sideways on a futon-bed these days. No, not the dog house, just a rational decision to get some sleep after the 3.5 yo toddler recently claimed 2/3 of the King size bed, with the rest allocated to the wife. Talk about equity.
The best nights/days take place while the wife visits the parents. On such occasions I have it all to myself, the bed, and the day merges into the night seamlessly. I make allowance for a plan-free, hassle-free schedule; inevitably hitting the sac any which way I happen to land that night, or early morning (no joke). Some of these positions are definitely not giving that well with my back. There are times I feel like I've been sleeping in a 2x2 cage. |

Ok here is how old we are, we still sleep on a waterbed. Sleep mostly on my side with a small pillow between my calves. Between motorcycles and skydiving any night I can get more than abut six hours of sleep I consider a great night. Now for the best nights rest I would say it was on a regular bed with very, very high count cotton sheets. High count cotton sheets are incredible.

We has to get rid of our waterbed two years ago...I really miss it. One of my cats poked a hole in it with his claws...no more waterbeds. I love good sheets to !!! I love my bed. ![]() |
