Missed trip to PDC due to pettiness
I just had to share this story my husband told me last night. One of the guys he works with and his wife had a weeks vacation in PDC planned. When they arrived at their hotel they had a message from his wife's sister to call her. The sister-in-law told them that her mom was in the hospital and they needed to rush home. So they made arrangements to leave the next day. When they got home, they found out that her mother had never been in the hospital!!!
The sister-in-law was jealous that they were going to Mexico and ruined their trip. They not only didn't get their vacation, but they lost all the money they paid for the trip. I think it would be a cold day in hell before I talked to that sister-in-law again!!! |

Wanna know what I recommend your friends do when they do get back to Playa?? Since being on "Judge Judy" and suing for recovery of the trip cost (plus emotional distress) is probably out of the question, tell them to do this:
I'd suggest they buy about 60 postcards of beautiful beaches, etc. in Playa. Bring the postcards home and address them all to that B*$%#. Mail one postcard per week to her with the words: WE WENT TO PLAYA, AND YOU DIDN'T! HA!! HA!! I know.... childish and petty. But it sure would me some satisfaction. |
