EVENT NEWS: Day of the Dead Procession in Playa
The time is coming to drag your rotting corpses to 5th Avenue to watch the Day of the Dead candlelit procession!
When?: Wednesday 1st November, 5-6pm. The shuffling begins at the Zócalo on 5th (Near the Bus station at the South end of 5th) and returns to the ground from whence it came at La Caldera cultural centre at 9pm (casa esquina de calle 26 y 10 Avenues). Then on the following day: Thursday 2nd November, 6pm, in Paseo del Carmen (this is the swanky area at the Southern beginning of 5th): Music, Dance, Calacas (Skeletons), Offerings, Poetry, Puppets y mas... .. and remember it's a celebration not a grave event. |
