There is a minimum dress code. I was not aware of it until our last time there. My wife and I went to eat breakfast at the main buffet. She was wearing her swimsuit with a cover-up that fully covered her to high on the thigh. I've seen shorter dresses/skirts on women. The person that greated us at the entrance told her she would have to change. We put up a littel fuss and were allowed in.

Men need to wear pants for the specialty restaurants, and nice jeans were acceptable with a polo or button down shirt.
The snack/pool buffets allowed anything...swimsuits were ok. The breakfast and dinner buffets required shirts by men and women- swim suits were not allowed, but tankini tops (for women) were ok as long as you had on a cover up for the bottom.. |

with regard to dress code I must admit it is nice to see people smart casual dressed, but on our holiday last sept we arrived late afternoon after a long journey and we were all hungry so we went straight to restaurant, and to my shock horror they stopped my husband because he was wearing a hooded top with no sleeves in, so we explained we had just arrived and were very hungry so they let us in, five minutes later the manager gave him a iberostar t shirt to put on. So every one was happy
We are coming back next sept cant wait ! by the way we dressed up every night after that ![]() |
