I just returned from the Playacar last week. My sister got married there but we had the wedding across the street at the Tequila. The Yucatan doesn't really have a nice place for a wedding. The Playacar had a small area, but she choose the Tequila for the ceremony because it had nicer gardens. I preferred the Playacar because it had a bigger pool than the Yucatan and a nicer layout I thought. The rooms at the Yucatan are set in a mini jungle like setting. Both offer the same services and I think it all comes down to personal taste, but I preferred the Playacar. Good luck!
