Tucan Room service question?

Hi, I tried to search this question out but had no luck. Does the room service menu at the Tucan have any breakfast items that can be ordered? All I have been able to find are dicussions on snacks like nuggets salads fries etc... Thanks!

I'll check tonight-I kept the room service menu, but I don't believe so, as room service is only available form 11-11, which is after breakfast is over.

Thanks for checking. I didn't realize the times were 11-11 so you are probably right. It would be nice to have a little something on the balcony with our coffee in the morning and since you can't bring food out of the restaurants I had hoped we could just order something. Oh well, the buffet it is!

When we were there in March of 2005 they did not offer breakfast on their room service menu but that could have changed by now!

Has anyone ever taken food from the poolside buffet or the continental breakfast buffet that ends some time around 7:00 am ? It seems like it would be easy to take something from there to take to your room. I heard a worker tell a person at the main buffet that taking food from there was not allowed. It didnt seem that they watched the pool buffet as closely.

I saw people take breakfast away from both the beach restaurant & the Quetzal's main buffet.

When we have stayed there we go to the buffet early, when they are just opening. Get coffee and muffin to go, no one ever stopped us.

Actually, on our last morning, we took muffins and cookies from the pool snack bar @ 10:30am, oh, and all of the cold bottled water from our room fridge, for the ride to the airport.
