Capt Daves has been closed for a long time..about 2 years i think...he owns Bad Boys on the beach and Mayte can be found in the Beer Bucket

We are showing “The Others”, an Academy Award winner with Nicole Kidman at 7:30 followed by “Kill Bill, Volume 1” with Uma Therman on Monday night, December 1. Seating is free for this event, and we have blankets for patrons so don’t worry about getting cold.

Hi there - my husband and I will be there for our first PDC visit from Jan 28-Feb 3rd. Any special events we should try to hit?? Any recommendations for a good, not too cheesy night out? (We are mid-thirties parents who like to have a good time, but do not enjoy frat parties, if that helps.) Thanks! Can't wait to find out why people are falling in love with Playa all the time.

Life is a party all the time in Playa, but I thought some of you might want to know every day Happy Hour on beach is now 5pm to 7pm.

Ice cold bottles of Sol and Superior 20Pesos, well drinks 35Pesos, Food specials.

Hope to see some of you here at the end of a hard days sun bathing!
