Charitable Golf Tournement
TO: Our Puerto Aventuras Neighbors
The second annual Puerto Aventuras Charitable Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The money raised will benefit the high school in the Poblado. This school building is about 90% complete, and is in its first year of operation with 40 children attending. The teachers expect next year’s enrollment to be about double. Last year’s golf tournament generated $8500 USD and allowed the addition of doors and windows to the building. This year, the money raised will again be dedicated to continued improvements in the facility. If you are a golfer, please consider participating in the tournament. If you are not a golfer, or are not in Puerto on February 29, please consider supporting this effort by making a tax deductable cash contribution or making a check out to Robert A. Uecker. Contributions can be dropped off at Captain Rick’s, handled through your condo administrator or given to any of the event organizers listed below. In addition, you can participate by buying raffle tickets &/or purchasing one of our many fantastic items at the auction. The auction is open to the public starting at 2PM on the day of the Tournament. A document is attached which includes all the details about how to participate in the Tournament. If you have any questions or need clarification please contact one of the event organizers listed below. Supporting secondary education in the Poblado will have a long term positive impact on our community. The Golf Tournament Committee looks forward to your participation in this endeavor.
