Do you know anything about a bazar at Parque La Ciebe on Saturdays? I would love to go and buy my souveniors there if they are still having it in a few weeks. Is this a one time thing or is it recurring? Guess I would need a cab to get there from Hacienda San Jose on a Sat, right?

I understand it is every Saturday, It might be cancelled by rain this one but it is supposed to be every saturday starting at 1 PM, it is a great idea to get your souveniers there, they are trying to teach locals to do arts and crafts and sell them directly. I have seen reallly beautifull things there.
Let me know how it went, if I find out it is cancelled I will post it

I was waiting for a postcard invitation but since it is late I wanted to just post
the 3rd mini world soccer cup organized by Quinta Magazine and Mamitas beach is this weekend, there are lots of new teams playing this year it should be a lot of fun!

the American team plays at 9am, 11am 1pm and 4pm. Each team plays 30 minute game. Should be lots of fun to watch!

They offer handmade arts and crafts like arte huichol which is made with very colorfull threads on wax,

You cross the highway on Avenida Juarez and on the second block you take a left, drive one block south and there it is. I have not been able to go to their market yet and tomorrow I will have to be at the mundialito so it will have to be next saturday

Claudia, do you know the hours of the craft sale? I saw that it starts at 1, but was wondering how late it goes? I'd love to go to it, but it might be tough dragging my husband and son off the beach too early!

I asked Karla and she said it varies, depending on the people that are present, there are people comming from chiapas to sell their work and others from the maya region
she promised some pictures and she said it would be safe to say around 7
