What forums do you read?
We all know about playa.info, but I am just wondering what other forums people spend time reading.
I read an HDTV forum HERE I read numerous different bike forums and local bike club websites A chicago restaurant forum which I found when the moderator of that forum posted on playa.info about his trip and eating experiences in PDC. That forum is HERE. An adult forum which I found by chance when looking at some body painting web sites. I'll refrain from posting that link in order not to offend anyone! I read a Disney forum in their "off topic" section just because I am amazed at what certain people will post. This forum is purely for entertainment purposes at this point. The off topic section is HERE. Of course there are always some that come and go depending no what I am researching at the time. A tivo community, cheap hotel forums, etc. So, what about the rest of you. Where do you spend your time? |

Well, since planning a trip to Playa, I've spent a lot of time here and on the TripAdvisor forums (and actually any other forum I could find on the PDC)... but I like this one best
I also visit the Disney forum you linked, spent many an hour on those boards. You're right though, I'm amazed at what people will talk about Last year when remodeling my kitchen, I spent a lot of time on the kitchen forum at Gardenweb.com Loved that forum, and helped me get thru the stress of remodeling. |

for gossip I check out
http://www.perezhilton.com/index.php?page=1 but I don't post ever...just read others' posts...for a giggle sometimes. Rude people! and I check out a Zihua forum a couple times a week, but it's boring compared to this one. Lotta trolls too. Locogringo isn't bad either, and Loney Planet thorn tree forums have some decent tips at times. http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com/ca...s.cfm?catid=51 |

Currently just this one.
My first experience with an online forum, which was also very positive, was a fitness forum... my first, "OMG, I'm really traveling across several states to meet people from the internet " experience. A great gathering with wonderful people, and more get-togethers followed and friendships grew. But then, inexplicably, the "old school" posters fell away and the forum began to die. And though it has been somewhat resurrected, it is nowhere near the thriving community it once was, which is sad to me. I hope it never happens to this one! |

I read and post in Cruise Critics which has just about EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about ANYTHING related to cruising. Specific ship and sail date "Roll Calls" there allow you to meet fellow cruisers on your ship prior to sailing.

This is it. I really do not have time to get involved in any other forums, and frankly with the variety and depth of the topics and the cordial peeps I really do not have the need or desire to go elsewhere.

Mostly this one. I also read the LaLecheLeague forum/message boards. Lots of useful, practical information about breastfeeding and many other parenting issues. And some seriously rabid-for-the-cause posters that I hope don't end up in any of my kid's schools!
