IB* Tucan/Quetzal a la cartes
I have friends staying at the Iberostar Tucan/Quetzal in November. Anyone have recommendations for a la carte dining choice? I think they only get one a la carte choice for their 4 night stay. Any thoughts? Also, has anyone had luck in adding an a la carte dinner then their alloted number? They are there Thanksgiving week so I imagine it will be crowded. Thanks for any advice you can share.

We did not like the Japanese restaurant, the appetizers were good but the main entrees did not have any flavor. It was a lot of fun though.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The Steak house is good and the night we were at the Italian they had lobster as a special. If you check at the reservation desk around 5pm, it is pretty easy to get in to the Ala Cartes, although I do not know if this is the case during Thanksgiving week |

Hi yogagirl
we didn't much care for the japanese either mainly because it's a little too salty 'cause of all the soy sauce that is used, and also because I'm a little bit of a traditionalist in that I like all my main course on my plate at the same time Because it's show cooking you get your rice first then your meat is done after. Don't get me wrong it was all very good food I had beef and octopus but a little too much faffing about for my liking. We loved the Steak House, and the Mexican the best...between those two I preferred the Steak House (medium tenderloin steak )We never got to try the Italian, as we'd used our specialities quota up! but we'll do that one first next time! |
