Beautiful today! went out back for a smoke (we're across the street from the Metrodome) can't believe all the TV trucks. ESPN has a huge set up. 4:30 this afternoon the pregame show starts (Vikings vs New England Patriots). Saw about 10am patriot fans this morning heading for the party
game doesn't start until 7:15pm. I wonder if they'll remember the game? They asked me where the dome was. We were standing infront of it. How can you miss this? I mean what do you think a building shaped like this is? ![]() |

No snow here yet, amazingly...we had some a week and a half ago but it has all melted.
I like this time of year, actually, crisp cool days before the shoveling starts but no watering or other yardwork still to do...kind of a reprieve! ![]() |

Got a good 6-8" yesterday & last night here in "Sunny Manitoba". Just enough to make trick or treaters soaked & sick. Fun, fun. Thought I wouldn't have to worry about my kids trick or treating but both of them are. I asked if they were just a tad old (12 & 17), nope, all of them are doing it. Sheesh, oh well, better than tricking. Can't argue that.

Actually I would probably be intimidated enough that I would give them candy just to avoid getting egged. 6 to 8" of snow! Jeez.... I hope that's not coming our way. Poor trick or treaters. ![]() |

Well, it's officially here. Not as much snow as jmac got, but have about 4" in Winterpeg. -4 this AM and not expected to warm up much. Fired up the snowblower for the first time this year. More like bailing than blowing, that crap was heavy! And just think....only about 5 more months of this to look forward to. Hurry, Feb 12.
