Winter just got LAMER

Went to the cabin last night, power will be out for another 1 1/2 weeks, spent hours cleaning out the fridges from the melted ice cream, thawed meat, and all the "juice" that spilled out all over the kitchen floor. Just gross.

Generator has the pellet stoves working, space heater under the hot tub, 18" of snow on the steep driveway took about 15minuted to climb up in my truck. Top it all off, about 1/2 way home, I smoked a deer in some thick pea-soup fog. Meat and hair all on the front, and suspension/drivetrain mutilated the carcass as it rolled underneath. Truck is drivable, but looks like crap. Insurance time, looking forward to driving a junker loaner car from the body shop for 2 weeks.

Oh, Man...so sorry, you're having a bad week. I was in my Dad's truck when we hit a deer last year...caused a lot of damage.

Oh No....I am glad you weren't hurt...

Like I said before move to the Okanagan...No snow here...We are under gorgeous blue skies....
