My Wife and I will be at the Secrets Capri Dec 27 thru Jan 3. Who else?

Hey boomer,
Have a blast while you're at Secrets Capri; unfortunately I won't be there until May (way too long to wait!)
So who are you going with? Have you been before to SC, or Playa?
I'm also curious what type of room you have? I'm looking for ways to perhaps a get a cheap (or free would be fabulous

) upgrade when where there. I wouldn't think May would be a time for SC to be at full capacity (anyone else know the answer to this?) at the hotel so who knows.
Would you mind doing me a favor and at check out specific room numbers that you would love having. I figure if no upgrade from Tropical deluxe, then maybe I could at least request one of the 'special' rooms. I have another thread going where I specifically ask about this and have recieved some great advice but I figure if you will actually be there, you will have the freshest information when you get back.
Also, speaking of which, do you know someone at SC that I could get in touch with, maybe an e-mail address, so that I could put in my request?
If not, no problem, but I do expect you give me a full report when you get back - all the details, tips, etc. Thanks!

My husband and I will be there 11/19-11/27. I tried to do a roll call and no one responded. Have you ever been to the Capri before. Its our first stay in Playa and a first at the Capri. I booked a front jr suite. Decided to go all out. Can not wait!

Memomuffin - my bride-to-be and I will be up there March 31 to April 7th. If you want us to "check" on anything while we are there I'm sure we can get you some pictures and feedback. Just let me know what you are looking for.

Zap, Are you two getting married there or is that where you're honeymooning?
Matt and I are finally getting are wedding plans in order (or at least trying to)

it's crazy!! We're looking at places on the Cape but gosh is it expensive. Honestly, my first initial wish was to have it in PDC but Matt's mom is very religious and we're at least looking here to have itm but the amount of money it's costing, I just don't know if it's worth it!

Anyway, just have a great time while you're there, and fill me in on any good tips, rooms #'s? liquor? special requests? anything you think would be helpful! Have a great time most importantly, and make sure you go into town a few nights, what a blast!!!!

My fiancee and I will be celebrating our honeymoon at Capri in July! Does anyone know the type of beer that the resort serves? Also, are sandals allowed with long pants?

We are just going for our honeymoon. I feel your pain about the wedding plans!

We talked about five different destination weddings and ended up deciding to do it here in town (granted we live in Vegas). So despite the fact that it is a home-town wedding for us, everyone is enjoying that they get to come to Vegas.

I'll be sure to take a lot of photos and post a trip report.
