Hi Rosie, My husband John and myself (Patrice) will be staying at the Xcaret Resort from Dec 08 - 22. We are middle-aged, enjoy having a good time and will NOT be travelling with children. If that helps!!!

Thanks to whoever moved my thread...but, omg....I thought you guys had just deleted it! I am so paranoid that I will do something against "peep" rules...

Don't worry......

We are in Playa from the 15th to the 29th of December....We are at the Barcelo Colonial the week of the 16-23rd..in town the rest of it...We are bringing our two small children so probably won't get into town that first week...Pick a day & start a thread for a meet while you are there...

I would love to arrange a peep meet. No offense to my loving husband of 16 years, but he can get a little boring...!

I have been to the Playa area a couple times, but have never gone into town

, so I can't pick a good meeting place. If anyone wants to meet up, let's talk about a day (midweek? 12/19 or 12/20?) and a place. We love a good beach bar! We are flexible since we have brought along a babysitter!

We arrive the evening of the 19th. Probably won't have the stamina for being out late. If you haven't been to town then the Tequila Barrell is the easiest to find (right on 5th). Other night spots in that general area are la Rana or Beer Bucket. I find the beach bars to be a bit cool (cold) at night.
