Questions about Yucutan tours..

Hola again,

We would like to see Chichenitza and spend the weekend in Merida.. I see playainfo does a chichen tour, which sounds great, but wondering if there might be a tour more tailored to the direction we want to go.. Maybe Coba, Chichen, then Merida for weekend.. with an extra day (monday?) to see some of the ruins south of Merida, then back to Playa. Of course, we want to see Cenotes.. particularly ones I can scuba dive in!! We are not really "tour people" and I like how playainfo advertises that.. we will likely go with them.. but head to Merida by bus after the Chichen tour.. unless anyone has any other suggestions for us (there are 2 of us), Thanks! Sarah

If $$ is not an issue, I would use Playa.Info to obtain a private driver and a van and just go for it. If you're like the rest of us and have to be more conservative with $$, then I think you can't beat the Playa.Info tours. I did Chichen Itza, Il Kil cenote and Valladolid (sp) with them last time. Already booked Coba with them for this time. Their tours are a full day and I guarantee you'll come back exhausted and full of wonderful memories. Depending on how many days you are going to be there, you could book multiple tours and still have time left over to do some exploring on your own with a rental car. Good luck and enjoy your trip!!!!

Going scuba diving in cenotes should NOT be missed, but it's a separate tour from just visiting and snorkeling in them. Plan for a special cenote dive day, and do you ruins etc with Playa.info.
