That was f**king FUNNY...didn't expect it so all the better. Oh, and I think I'll pass on the next hot dog that's offered to me!

Will I be served eyes and udder???!!!! My stomach just did a back flip
I doubt if you'll be served this. There are taquerías where beef cheeks and other types of flesh are served, but these are on the menu so you know what you are ordering. Order stuff like arrachera or chicken and you will be fine.
Not only do different beef and pork body parts make up weiners, think of what goes into stuff like spam, bologna, and chopped ham.

Yeah, but I kind of like the "don't ask, don't tell" theory.

Such an honorable endeavor, surprised it didn't make the ballots this time around.

BTW, if you're so against squashed dongs, what do you stand for then?

If having different food in a foriegn country bothers you then the bathroom rules will probably not set well with ya either. We ate everything from restaraunts to street venders and if you follow your nose it is all good.

The average tourist would have to go out of his way to visit a place that would serve him eyes and udders. As the article says, order macisa if you want pure pork loin.

Ah, but that's the fun of travelling...going out of the way to visit odd little places that will serve you eyes and udders!

Good point, they won't try to "sneak" udders and eyeballs on your plate. No stealth food.

But if you have an open mind and an open stomach, you may be pleasantly surprised at what flavors you find!

One of my favorite little restaurant finds is La Borrega on hwy 307 across from the McDonalds (thanks for the tip on this one, Ginger!) They are known for their lamb barbacoa, but they also offer something called... I think... Paxan? Its basically the lungs, heart and other lamb offal stuffed with spices into the lamb stomach, cooked, and then chopped up and served. VERY rich and wonderful taste. I'm glad I tried it, even AFTER I knew what it was!

True, but the trip was well worth it.
