Speaking of "talent" earlier, I was scouted as one of "those" years ago for a Chicklet commercial in Pie de la Cuesta, Mexico you know.... in my haydays . What a grueling day that was! Heeheehee. I have pics of that day somewhere in some mildewed box in the basement. You should have seem the primitive camera equipment that they were using in those days! Too bad that I never got to see the commercial though. It was going go be filmed for Mexican TV only. And like Seakony said the food spread after the shoot was amazing! Yay, for Paamul, how exciting!

with new actors ![]() ![]() The Paamul Dressing Room ![]() Ya know all that time you take to get that cerveza/beach/caribbean shot? Sometimes with your toes? This took hour and hours. ![]() ![]() Not only did they have a beer stylist... ...they had a palm tree stylist...groomed the trees just right ![]() After 3-5 hours of prep, they finally start shooting

Loved the report and the pictures. Hate the loss of the Corona, though. And, did they not realize who they were throwing out of the food tent??
PS - did you check to make sure none of them had your chanclas??

Hey Susie and Rick, Great reporting and pics! Thanks, we loved it! Isn't it amazing to watch how long it takes and how many people are involved in every little detail.
Two of my kids are in the business in LA- one is an actor/ performer and the other is a sound man. I have have some great memories of being on set with them and just watching! I never complain about what a movie ticket costs and I always sit through all of the credits!! And because Peter was fortunate enough to do three Coke commercials- I am a Coke fan for life!! Continue with your on-site reporting! |

Great reporting guys! I am lmao at the beer substitution and palm tree augmentation
![]() ![]() Who knew took so much finesse to produce a corona commercial Now, on a serious note, can we have a moment of silence for the noble Coronas who sacrificed themselves to the greater good today? Remember that they will never get to fullfill their dream of being gulped by thirsty tourists (or locals)- lets make sure that their sacrifice was not in vein and enjoy an ice cold beer in their memory tonight. |
