Yea!! 50 days to go!!

Woohoo!!! Only 50 days until we are back in paradise!!! I can’t say that at home because in those 50 days my husband has to finish writing and defend his dissertation (he’s a *wee* bit stressed about time right now

). Oh, and we also have to visit family in <st1:State><st1:place>Mass.</st1:place></st1:State> for Thanksgiving, family in <st1:State><st1:place>Virginia</st1:place></st1:State> for Christmas, and pack up all of our junk and move (hoping that the house we are having renovated will be done by Jan….). Can we really do all that in 50 days??

Oh well, who the hell cares! I’ll be on the beach enjoying many cold beverages in between playing in the ocean in 50 days!!!

I just had to share because I have this feeling that you guys understand my excitement! Hope to meet some of you there!

Have you begun to pack? I always start early just tossing things in the suitcase on the closet floor so I don't forget anything. Ya know...new undies, stuff like that!

No packing yet- I'm more of a last minute packer kinda person. Besides, if I started rummaging around our closet to pack for a trip 50 days from now I think my husband would kill me (our bedroom is also his office- small house). I have worn my bathing suit around the house, though

I've just started 'gathering', getting the things I don't use now and stacking it neatly so it's ready to pack. For example, I bought bug spray when it all went on sale and I've been picking up litle things here and there.

I completely forgot about buying stuff that they don't sell in Maine in the winter- like sunblock and bug spray. Guess I better get on that....

Sounds like your plate is more than full the next month or so, huh!!!

Where in Mass. are you going for Thanksgiving??? I'll be at my cousin's in Hingham. Any chance you'll still be in Mass. on the day after?? David has to work, but I'd love to meetchya for lunch or sumthin' if that's possible.

Note: Put your Nerak beads in your travel toiletry bag so you don't lose them before you go to Playa!!

Good morning! Only 49 days to go today

Karen- We're visiting my grandfather and aunt on Cape Cod so we'll be pretty close to you all weekend. I'll pm you. Good point about the Nerak bead! I'm notorious for forgetting things (probably because I wait until the last minute to pack

). I wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to meet a peep

Sol- my husband's research is in ecology. We should definately get together in Jan- I'm sure my husband will be more than ready to celebrate! Where are you staying? We are at the Luna Blue. One of these days I'll get around to organizing a peep meet, too...

Cool area. I'll be at the Posada Freud. On the day that you arrive there is a Peep Meet at DJ's but we should get another one going for that weekend!
