Cheney, as it turns out, is younger than McCain.

I don't much care about 2008 yet. I would like to see a model that got the campaign and vote out of the way in two months instead of the drawn out process we have now.

Roni, I agree with you that McCain should not run, but for different reasons. McCain is too............liberal!

If McCain is the Republican's best bet, that is just sad. Where is the energy of youthful ideas? Bad enough W has re-commissioned people like Baker (not that I'm complaining), who should be off enjoying their twilight years.

My biggest issue with McCain is where do women fit into his scheme of things? If that got poked into (what a clever pun! ), I don't think it would be pretty.

I hope we can find a true conservative '08. Way too many RINO's in D.C.

Saw that Kerry was throwing his hat into the race. With competition like that they'll need to change their slogan to :
"Roll out the red carpet for our next Republican president." (which would be perfectly fine with me )

I just want better for them, expecially ones who have already served their country. Believe me, nothing makes me feel more secure than knowing James Baker is working on the Iraq issue.

And I don't consider myself too terribly liberal.
