I'm sorry about your friend, too. One of my closest friends died of cancer at age 45 (very quickly) and I miss her so much! It's been almost six years and I still reach for the phone to call her.....
When I feel that hole in my heart I just have to stop and wonder what her heaven is like....

We have a young relative who is losing the battle for her life. A week ago she was fine. She came down with something last Wednesday, and has been gravely ill since Saturday. Today, some of the relatives made the trip to the hospital to say good bye. She is 33, a wife, mother of 2 young children, and such a wonderful person! It's breaking my heart to know we are probably going to lose her.
There will be extra hugs for all my children when I see them tomorrow. |

At first, it was suspected that it was a horrible reaction to a flu shot. The infectious illness team is trying to figure it out, but as of this morning, they didn't know. She developed encephalitis which I read is usually related to a virus. She is a dental hygiengist, so maybe she picked it up in the office.
She ate right, exercised--the picture of health. Life isn't fair. |

Just read this. I am so sorry for your loss. We have lost more friends at a young age than I care to count. You do give good advice. I tell the people I care about that I love them everytime we talk. It started after 911, I hated the thought of losing people close to me without them knowing how I felt about them.

I'm very sorry to hear that! That sucks!
My sister(42) has been going for test for a lump on her head for the past few weeks. She got her report back 3 days ago that said she was stage 4 with some type of very aggressive breast/lung/bone maybe more, cancer She tried calling her Doc to talk about it, but he's been out for 3 days. Tonight she finally got a hold of him and he told her that he got her chart mixed up with someone else's. She should be fine, some other young girl is not ( cancer sucks!)Wow! I'm so happy my sister OK! My sister was going through hell for 3 days and is having Thanksgiving at her house tomorrow night. We will give thank's! I'm thankfull! |
