Be Thankful Every Day

Hi all. I got some very bad news today. A friend of mine passed away this morning. Damn Cancer. Today was her 40th birthday.

I named this thread Be Thankful Every Day, but I don't really mean just that. What I really mean is tell people you're thankful. Tell people you're grateful for what they bring to your life. Thank your maker, if you believe you have one. Tell your family and friends that you love them. Tell them today, and everyday.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for taking the time to post a thoughtful reminder that the greatest gift a person can give another person is appreciation for what they bring to our life.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. She was way too young.
And you are so right, so many take life for granted.
I was guilty of it myself until last year when I had a life changing event.

So sorry to hear about your friend. That is far too young. Thank you for posting this as a reminder. I need to be better at saying "thank you" to people... for the big things and the little things.

I am sorry to hear about your friend. and I hear you...I lost a friend a few months ago to cancer and I really miss him. You just never know. We need to hug our friends more and tell them how great they are and how much they mean to us !!!!

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend......The most important thing I have learned during the past few months is that without friends & family we are nothing & how important it is to tell those close to us how much we love & appreciate them....

Sorry to hear of your loss...
One of my best friends died near her 40th birthday...of breast cancer. I really miss her. We knew each other for 34 years. I still think of her often...everytime I hear the word 'cancer.'

Every day is a gift. And if everyone followed your recommendation, the world would be a better place

I am very sorry about your friend....cancer is so terrible...and thanks for the reminder, it is so true.

oh, i am very sorry to hear about your friend. i turn 40 next year and i thank my lucky stars that i am pretty healthy. you just never know when tragedy like that strikes.

i definitely tell my family everyday that i love them!!
