3. What is bigger when new and grows smaller with use?

4. I have keys that open no locks, I have space, but there is no room, You can enter, but you can't go in. What am I?

5. Does the Muslim religion allow a man to marry his widow's sister?

7. What is bought by the yard and worn by the foot?

9. A young man decides to buy a collector's baseball card. He pays $60 for it. After a month, the value of the card has increased to $70 and he decides to sell it. But already a few days later he regrets his decision to sell the collector's item, and he buys it again. Unfortunately he has to pay $80 to get it back, so he loses $10. 1. (I’ll assume you’re talking about hourglass-like timers, with sand in them) Start both the five-minute timer and the three minute timer. When the three-minute timer runs out, stop the five-minute timer (Just flip it on its side.) When you’re ready to cook your egg, reactivate the five-minute timer. There will be two minutes of sand left to count down.

2. Freeze them first, then cut away the plastic jugs.

3. A pencil eraser.

4. A computer keyboard.

5. Who cares? The man’s dead – he left a widow.

6. One thousand.

7. Sock yarn.

8. A window.

9. $100?

10. By imagining that they are whale sharks.

1. You want to boil a two-minute egg. If you only have a three-minute timer, a four-minute timer and a five-minute timer. How can you boil the egg for only two minutes? agree with MWC

2. There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How could you put all of this water into a barrel, without using the jugs or any dividers, and still tell which water came from which jug? or freeze one and drop the jug shaped ice block on top of the water from the other jug that was emptied first

3. What is bigger when new and grows smaller with use? or soap

4. I have keys that open no locks, I have space, but there is no room, You can enter, but you can't go in. What am I? agree with MWC

5. Does the Muslim religion allow a man to marry his widow's sister? agreeing again

6. If you were to spell out numbers, how far would you have to go until you would find the letter "A"? agreeing again (very interesting by the way when couting out all those numbers and there was no "a"...)

7. What is bought by the yard and worn by the foot? I'm gonna go with Carpet

8. There is an ancient invention still used in some parts of the world today that allows people to see through walls. What is it? agreeing with MWC again (garsh, I'm so agreeable!)

After a year of owning the baseball card, he finally decides to sell it for $100. What is his gross profit? I'm gonna say $30... (in the hole $60 by buying it, makes $10 by selling it for $70, is in the hole $70 by buying it for $80, up by $30 when he sells it for $100)

10. Imagine you are in a sinking rowboat surrounded by sharks. How would you survive? I was thinking something like that... if it's just in my imagination, I can imagine they are really dolphins...

The Official Answers

1. Once the water is boiling, turn the three-minute timer and five-minute timer over. When the three-minute timer runs out, put the egg in the boiling water. When the five-minute timer runs out, two minutes have elapsed and it is time take the egg out of the water. You don't need the four-minute timer for this question.

2. Freeze them first. Take them out of the jugs and put the ice in the barrel. You will be able to tell which water came from which jug.

3. Soap (or a pencil, crayon, chalk, candle, etc)

4. A computer keyboard, or typewriter.

5. A dead man cannot marry. His widow would mean he is dead.

6. One thousand

7. Carpet

8. A window

9. $30. Gross profit, not net profit.

10. Quit imagining!

Another answer to 2 is to turn the barrel upside down and put it over the two jugs.
