Hi guys......I want to say "sorry" in advance. I have spent a few minutes looking for what is probably listed a dozen times somewhere throughout the site, but I just can't find it.

I am heading down to Playa for 2 weeks in January and I was curious where exactly the Playa Cam is located.

I will be staying at the Riu Yucatan...is it anywhere near there?

It is on top of Cyan Ha Dive Shop at Shangri La Hotel this hotel is at the North End of Playa and Playacar where you are staying is South
Shangri La is on 38th steet

Another option is to scoot up to the "multi media" tab up at the top of the page. It will give you a complete rundown on all things about the beach webcam, like location etc. I think theres a click on "about the webcam" button under the picture.

the webcam screen is black and stays that way for many days already. I wonder if the "make a donation" link at the bottom activates the camera.
Any ideas ?

What time of day do you normally check it? Right now, it's black because it's night time....go figure. I never look at it myself, so I don't know if there's a problem with it during daylight hours or not.
