moon palace vs barcelo maya resort ???

We are going to mexico in april. We have 2 boys ages 15, 11. Would like to know which all inclusive resort wouyld be better to stay at . Anyone who has stayed at these and has comments it would sure be a great help. :roll:

Here http://www.unofficial-barcelo-maya.com/ is a good site dedicated to the Barcelo Maya. Message board, trip reports, lots of good info on getting up and down the coast, Tulum ruins etc.

We were considering going there before coming to the full realization that there were good reasons why we had reached our late 40's / just barely over 50 without going to an all-inclusive. Mean no disrespect of those who do, and I certainly think I could have a good time at one, but.....

I read a trip report a while back from a 14 year old girl that had been to the Gala twice and said there was a lot for teenagers to do there. I know you asked about the moon palace and the barcelo, but just thought I'd let you know. She said there were a lot of teenagers (girls and boys) and they had a great time in the disco.
