One more Restaurant

We leave next week for Playa! We will only be there a few days and really want to make the most of our trip (don't we all). We will have 3 nights to eat out for dinner and are planning on eating at Carboncita's, La Parilla (yes, touristy...I know, but kinda a tradition at this point), and still need one more place. We are also planning to eat at HCdeM for lunch at least once and grab some pizza at pizza pazza. My question to all you more experienced peeps, what is the one other restaurant you wouldn't miss for dinner? I've read so many of the other restaurant posts, and all it does is leave me more confused!! How do we pick?

I would suggest Casa Mediterranea if you like good italian cuisine in a very romantic setting (inside Jardin de Marieta) fifth avenue in front of Hotel Lunata and Yaxche Mexican Regional Food with exotic dishes My mouth is watering just thinking about the Kinich mmmm.

Both of them and Carboncitos are part of the Directory of Playa info and Carboncitos and Casa Mediterranea have 20% off with the Playa Deal Card Yaxche is also in the Playa Deal Card with 15% and a Mayan Kiss
Enjoy hope this helps you!

I agree...Babes Noodle Bar...that is our favorite restaurant!! It's not fancy, but the food is amazing. We like all the noodle dishes, and my husband loves the swedish meatballs....but the best of all are the rolls!

Chicago don Jose if you're looking for some place that's pretty up scale. Babes is also very good, and we had a great meal at Sol last trip.

Babes. It's always the first place we eat when we arrive and generally hit it at least twice while in town.

Dr. Taco is my vote for a lunch, but really only if you need to add another. You already have my top choices in there!

Babes....Chicago Don Jose definately two of our favorites for dinner....El Oasis for shrimp tacos....always our first lunch when we get to Playa.

Shrimp tacos...watch out for the green hot sauce...

Oh and Playa Maya for their coconut shrimp....the best...plus it's cool cause you get to eat on the beach.

Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for all of your suggestions! Now, I am more confused than ever. I think I've narrowed it down to Chicago Don Jose's and Babe's. We might just have to hit one of those at lunch to fit them both in this trip! The thought of Babe's blueberry margarita is already making my mouth water...
