Best way to get there from the Cancun Airport

We are flying into Cancun, and are trying to figure out the best way to get to Playa del Carmen. We are staying at the Royal Hideaway, but they want $90 to pick us up. Can we get a cab, or are there other services to take us? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I always catch a cab. I can't remember the exact price, but I recall it being way less than that.

Maybe...look up....yep, up there, a little higher on your computer screen...no, a little farther to the right...there you go. read more practical info about arriving.

Those are all menu choices on this very site. Hint: they drop down upon.
