Hello.... from MN

First post here -
Headed for the Catalonia Riviera Maya end of January with 3 girlfriends for a Girls week in Mexico, leaving the hubbies at home ( except now my hubby thinks he should come as tour guide for us -even though he hasn't been to this side yet)
As we huddled around the bonfire the other night having a beer, we all could hardly wait until sitting around on the beach with cervesa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to hear of any tips, suggestions for staying at the Cat... especially about bottled water - I hear it is not part of their package -so where do we get it??
Also, thinking about a day trip into PDC or maybe down to Tulum -that beach area looks incredible
Looking forward to your posts

Hey there MN, welcome to the forum!

We stay at the Fusion and they have a fridge in the room, so we go to the store and we buy gallons or they even have a five gallon at the store next to us and keep filling up our water bottles for the 10 days we are there. We drink a lot of water though-pretty much all we drink (except of course for beer, vodka, rum, margaritas, mojitos, tequila) you get the idea

Sounds like you girls are going to have a great time. And tell hubby nice try!

That's a great tip - thanks. I don't believe the Cat has in room frig but it seems like the water always got warm by the time we got to the beach anyway. We can hardly wait to get there! Having 40th birthday party for one of the girls tonight.

Welcome MN beachgirl I am also new to this web site but have tried others before heading to Mexico this is by far the most informative, friendliest one I have been to. People here are fun and knowledgeable and try to help I can't wait to get to PDC

Ely - popular little tourist area on the northern border - the road actually ends just East of town.
