Hi!
Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'll be heading to Mexico in January for my wedding at the Iberostar Tucan followed by a second week at the Iberostar Lindo. YAY! I can't wait. I love looking at all of the trip reports and hope to include one of my own.

I've stayed at both Iberostars - good choice. The accommodations are fantastic and both are relatively close to Playa. I would encourage trips into Playa, great dinning, shopping and night life. James |

This is a great excursion
You should check out the "Mayan Encounter" which is a day trip to climb Coba plus a lot more. We did this last year and my son thought I was the coolest mom ever! We loved the zip lines. See this website for more info or google Alltournative Tours. Since you have two weeks you'll have plenty of time. You may want to do more of your excursions the week you are at the Tucan because you will be nearer to Tulum, Coba, Xcaret, etc and then relax the week you are at the Lindo.
We stayed at the Sandos right beside the Tucan and in my opinion the Sandos and Tucan have the best beach in the area. We head to the Lindo in February so I'll compare then. Can't wait! Have a great wedding and marriage. May each year get better and better. |
