Another Lurker Revealed

Hola! We've been checking this forum out since we first planned our trip to an AI last January. We had a great time and like everyone else, fell in love with Playa. This time around, we are going non AI thanks to all of the great info provided by the playa.info team and all of you! I have to admit to being a little clueless though. I didn't realize until I had made our reservations that it was Peep Stock week! I've inadvertantly have us signed up for a couple of events already. Now I understand why the Coba Tour was switched to Tuesday. At the time it was, " Ok, as long as the day starts with a 'T', I'm good. Also, we're staying at the Luna Blue so I think T and Cheri are having blended burgers. ?? Must be a playa thing. I had planned on checking out the Beer Barrel so - why not the night of the fifth! And Lori, the significant other, tells me that where there's beer there is margs so I think she's in. Is that OK Karen?

Thanks again to the great Playa.info team for everything and to all of the posters that have provided the info we used to plan this trip. Now if only someone will tell me what the weather is going to be like the first week of March?

I'll be happy to add you to the Peepstock signup list - what's your wife's first name and what are your dates in Playa??

I'll also add you to the Beer Bucket Peep Meet listing too.

You'll need to post in the Coba Tour thread to ask Beachnutt719 (the "other Karen") to add you to her list, although to sign up for the tour requires that you go through the motions of Playa.Info's links (I believe from your post that you've probably already done this).

The Blender and Burger Bash will be organized by Tony & Cheri, and I assume that sometime later they'll start a thread for that to have people sign up so they can get a headcount of attendees.

Check out the Peepstock signup thread (click here) for a full listing of the events scheduled so far. Perhaps you'll be interested in the Formula 1 Tour or the Fat Cat or the Tulum Beach Excusion or the Sunrise Reveille???

I've been on this forum so much I should easily have over 5,000 posts, but I'm mostly a reader, not a poster. Love to visit and read the trip reports. Especially if pictures are involved!

We can't wait to meet some of these folks at Peepstock as well!

Actually, that was taken last year on New Year's Eve on a cruise ship!

That was before dinner and I'm already kinda slumped over with eyes a bit squinty.

Gotta tell ya, I really love my pre-dinner martinis!!

Hate the heels ya gotta wear, though. Give me my tevas any day!

TJ, welcome. Don't mean to be nosey but assuming you're also from WI, where abouts? Sorry about the late reply but we just got back from Playa Monday night and haven't had much of a chance to catch up. After 6 trips down we did the non AI thing for the first time for our 7th and loved it. We're committed to an AI next time but will probably start going the "non" route again after that. Oh, almost forgot. Don't worry about the weather!

Hi norml, We're from Oshkosh. We'll probably do AI some time again. Especially if we just want some R & R. For now, there's too much to see and do. This should be a lot of fun. We get to meet peeps!
